Emergency services

  • Call 111: for immediate, life-threatening emergencies
  • Call 105: for non-emergency things that have already happened and don't need urgent Police assistance.
  • Contact the 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Support Team on 0800 653 357 if you or someone is experiencing a mental health crisis.

If you or your whānau are unable to secure a same-day appointment with your GP, we’re here to help. 

This exciting new initiative, brought to you by Practice Plus, Muaūpoko Tribal Authority and Piri’anga Alofa, is designed to reduce wait times and improve access to essential hauora care services for everyone in our community. 

And the best part? This is a free service! Phone 0800 4 Tākuta (0800 4 825 882).

You'll be put in touch with one of our Kaiawhina who can help arrange an appointment. 

Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 10pm, Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 9pm.
