Who is responsible for maintenance of Fire Hydrants?

Council conducts an annual cleaning and testing program, which also includes a repaint of the markings and replacement of the blue Raised Pavement Markers (RPM's).
The Hydrants are also checked after each resealing program. If you identify a problem with a fire hydrant please contact Council to advise the situation on (06) 366 0999 or email us enquiries@horowhenua.govt.nz
