Hydrabad Wreck Walkway, Waitārere

Walk from either Waitārere or Hokio Beach past the wreck of the Hydrabad. Approximately 15 minutes walk from Waitārere Beach or 1 hour from Hokio Beach.

The Hydrabad was a square rigged sailing ship which ran aground during a severe storm in 1878.
