Beatz of Nationz: A Celebration of Cultural Diversity

Horowhenua is gearing up for a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity with a multicultural festival that promises to bring the community together in a showcase of music, dance, and flavour.
Horowhenua District Council and Unison Community Choir bring you Beatz of Nationz. This free, family-friendly event will be held on Saturday 30 November 2024 from 3pm to 7pm at the Village Green, Levin.

Fluoridation begins for Levin and Ōhau water supply

Fluoride will be added to the Levin and Ōhau drinking water supply from Tuesday 19 November 2024. Horowhenua District Council is one of 14 councils directed by the Ministry of Health to add fluoride to the water. The ministry is fully funding the $900,000 cost of installing fluoridation equipment.

Foxton War Memorial Hall Finds a New Life in Community Hands
