Level 1 Water Conservation is in place for Levin and Ōhau from Monday 13 January 2025 until further notice. Water Conservation Level 2 remains in place for Foxton and Foxton Beach until further notice.

Matariki is about connection. It heralds the start of the Māori New Year as we reflect on the year that has been. There’s no better way to celebrate past achievements and look forward to future successes than with whānau and friends.

In partnership with Iwi and hapū, we’re proud to host a number of Matariki events to cater for all people in our district.

The programme of events runs between 14 June and 22 July, and we look forward to connecting with you as we celebrate this special occasion.
