To upgrade services to the Waitārere Beach Surf Life Saving Community Facility, the beach access west of Rua Avenue, Waitārere Beach will be temporarily closed or disrupted between Monday 19 June and Friday 14 July 2023.
Between Monday 19 June and Friday 30 June 2023, access to the beach will be down to one lane with priority give way between 7am and 6pm each weekday.
Between Monday 3 July and Friday 14 July, access to the beach will be closed between 7am and 6pm each weekday.
The road will be open outside of these hours. Access to the beach is recommended through Windsor Street.
