Water pipes will be connected in Shannon to support the water network.
When will this work take place?
On 20 July between 9am and 3pm. Mains water will be shut off in this area to allow for the installation of the water pipes. Residents are encouraged to fill clean containers with drinking water should they require it during the day.
Which areas are affected?
Properties on Ballance Street, Shannon and Clapham Street, Shannon will have all water shut off. Houses affected will have received a letter in the post by 17 July 2021. Some properties on East Road and Bovis Street may experience low water pressure.
Will the roads stay open?
The road will remain open with reduced speeds and traffic control.
