Council Public Forum

Next date: Wednesday, February 12, 2025 | 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM

Public Forums are held prior to the Council Meetings, to provide an opportunity for members of the public to raise  matters of concern directly to Elected Members. 

If you wish to speak at the Public Forum, you must let us know by 12.00 noon the date before the meeting.

You must make your request to speak at Public Forum by contacting the Democracy Services Team.  You can do this by:

• phone on 06 366 0999
• email to public.participation@horowhenua.govt.nz
• in person to 126 Oxford Street, Levin, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm

You will need to provide the following details:

• your name and contact details
• which meeting date you would like to speak
• the topic you want to speak about

If you want to speak about an item on the agenda, you must request to do this as part of public participation.

We do not allow PowerPoint presentations or videos as part of the public forum.

We will let you know if you can speak at the public forum the afternoon prior to the meeting.
