Land Transport Bylaw 2024

The Land Transport Bylaw 2024 was adopted by Council on 30 October 2024 and became effective from 1 November 2024.

What the bylaw applies to

This bylaw applies to all legal road reserves and parking areas controlled by Horowhenua District Council. Council can grant exemptions upon written request, but this is at Council's discretion and may come with specific conditions. If any conditions aren't met, it's considered an offense. Additionally, Council can revoke an exemption with at least 24 hours' written notice.
