    Request for information about the number of Waste Transfer Stations in the Horowhenua District, what materials they're permitted to handle, how far away they are from any Residential zoned sections and which was established first ie the nearest residential sections or waste station.

    Request for copies of any substantive correspondence, including copies of any presentations, briefings or reports to Council or Council staff, since 1 June 2021 about a potential agreement between Horowhenua District Council and any consultants, contractors or other representatives of Manawatū District Council, Bio Plant Manawatū, Bio Plant NZ, and/or Mana Pacific about the management and disposal of municipal waste generated in the Horowhenua District and its potential supply to a proposed waste to energy or pyrolysis facility in the Manawatū area.

    Request for information over the last five years relating to how much recycling has been collected by Council per year in tonnes; of the recycling collected how much has been sent to landfill in tonnes and why, how much was recycled domestically per year within New Zealand and overseas; and a brief outline of what items can and cannot be recycled.

    Request for an up-to-date list of all consented, operating Class 1-5 fill sites in the region (these could be land use consents related to activities such as landfills, clean fills, managed fills, construction and demolition fill sites, rubbish dumps or tip sites) and an up-to-date list of all consented and known non-consented, operating transfer stations in the region.

    Questions relating to whether a public portal has been established by Horowhenua District Council; if not, why not and when will it be publicly available; what monitoring details and results feature on the portal; and has Council been issued with an abatement notice by the regional council for not complying with the conditions of the Levin Landfill consent.
