Operative Horowhenua District Plan 2015 - ePlan

The Horowhenua District Council, at its meeting of 3 June 2015, authorised the Proposed District Plan to be made operative on Wednesday, 1 July 2015.

New ePlan format

The Operative Horowhenua District Plan 2015 is now in ePlan format. It has also been restructured to implement the mandatory requirements of the National Planning Standards (NPS). To assist users with the transition, both the National Planning Standards Compliant version of the District Plan and the previous version of the Operative Horowhenua District Plan will be available for a short period of time.

The ePlan makes it easier to find information relevant to your property and to have your say on any changes to the District Plan. You can use the ePlan either like a book by reading it in full or reading it section by section. You can also view information specific to your property, either via the property search function or navigating from the interactive map.

In time, the ePlan’s functionality will be expanded so you can search by activity.
