A streamside reserve which runs from Kahukura Ave to the Waitarere Beach foreshore along the banks of the Wairarawa Stream. A nice place for a picnic, or to start or end a long walk on the beach.

Private land features walking & mountain biking tracks; access to Tararua Forest Park. Links to the first stage of Te Araroa walkway. Walk 45 minutes up to the top ridge trig for outstanding views.
