Horseshoe Bend Reserve, Tokomaru

Horseshoe Bend is one of the most popular swimming spots in the district. There are plenty of magical bush walks, swimming holes and established trees which makes this a lovely shady spot to enjoy a picnic and a swim during the summer months.

Although open for walking to enjoy throughout the year, vehicle access is available through the summer months only, due to the very soft ground conditions in the lower part of this reserve during the winter period making it unsuitable for vehicles. The toilets are available 24/7 and open fires are prohibited.
