Holben / Te Wharangi Reserve, Foxton Beach

Holben/Te Wharangi Reserve is a great place to park the car and walk to some of the best bird watching spots in the region, where you can see wading and migratory birds. From the reserve, you can also access the extensive Foxton Beach walkway system. With ponds, a childrens’ playground, bike skills area, basketball hoop, a skating area and situated close to a café, it’s a popular family picnic spot in summer. Grab a latte or an ice-cream and watch the kids run around. The area is situated right next to Foxton Beach Holiday Park and is a popular venue for social events over summer. There is a public hall and soundshell available for hire on this reserve.
