River Loop Amble & Flax Walkway, Foxton

Explore the history and culture of Foxton. A grassy track along the Manawatu River front connects Te Awahou Board Walk at the north end, the Flax Walk and the start of the Piriharakeke Track to the south.

Sunset Walk, Foxton Beach

Sunset Walkway showcases the internationally recognised and protected Ramsar site in the Manawatu River Estuary. Spot migratory birds, enjoy river views, watch boats and fishing at the Boat Club, or stop for a BBQ picnic at the boat ramp.

The Foxton to Foxton Beach Connection

This is a dedicated pedestrian and cycle pathway alongside Foxton Beach Rd. The actual pathway is 2.4km long but additional time will need to be added at both ends to enjoy pathways, parks and heritage within the towns.
