Who decides whether my grant is awarded funds or not?

All Horowhenua District Council grants are decided upon through the Funding and Recognition Subcommittee of Council. This includes five nominated councillors with the delegated authority of the full Council.

The Creative Communities Scheme is awarded through the Creative Communities Committee, a group of creatively-minded locals on behalf of Creative NZ.

The Shannon Community Development Trust is awarded through a small committee of Shannon local residents on behalf of the Trust.
