Water Conservation Levels in place

Level 1 Water Conservation is in place for Shannon & Tokomaru from Friday 24 January 2025 until further notice. Level 2 Water Conservation is in place for Levin and Ōhau from Thursday 23 January 2025 until further notice. Water Conservation Level 2 remains in place for Foxton and Foxton Beach until further notice.

Foxton Beach unsuitable for swimming - 20 February 2025

Horizons Regional Council monitor water quality for our district and have a 'Unsuitable for swimming' warning currently in place for Foxton Beach. The warning includes swimming, water activities and kai collection. Another sample will be taken at Foxton Beach today - keep an eye on the LAWA website (Land, Air, Water Aotearoa) for any updates.

We cater for children from birth to School age. Families can learn and play alongside their children. We also offer an NZQA approved Parent Education Programme. Sessions: 9am - noon Monday - Thursday 9am - 1pm. Fridays. This is an extended session for out children over 3 years old. Whanau Tupu Ngatahi - families growing together.
